Biography
In the dozen or so years since moving from his native state of Oregon to Nashville, Chris Stevens has racked up an impressive list of accolades. He has produced and mixed some of the biggest albums in contemporary Christian music, working with artists like TobyMac, and American Idol finalist Mandisa. He has also worked on projects for Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, and Shakira.
In 2016 he began focusing his efforts on songwriting and production in the country genre, and has already had songs released by Jason Aldean, Lindsay Ell, David Lee Murphy, Kenny Chesney, Justin Moore, Morgan Wallen, Drew Baldridge, and Logan Mize. In June 2018, Stevens celebrated his first number one Billboard and Mediabase Country Song with David Lee Murphy's "Everything's Gonna Be Alright", featuring Kenny Chesney. Stevens co-wrote the song with Murphy and Jimmy Yeary, and produced the background track.
